Clients Helping Haiti

One week ago, a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti and it’s estimated that over 200,000 people have died. Many of us are seeking ways to help.

Meltwater clients include non-profit organizations and charities around the world that are working hard to help in any way possible.

Here are a few Meltwater News clients who are making a difference in Haiti today:

Unicef United States Fund is helping UNICEF’s emergency response in Haiti and continually works to save children’s lives.

Church World Service is providing emergency supplies via local partners in Haiti, and is working with them on temporary shelter, food, and health assistance, while also supporting communities in the long struggle to rebuild.

World Vision’s 370 locally based staff are distributing emergency survival kits including food, water, blankets and tents as well as medical supplies to local hospitals and providing emergency health services to the injured.

    It is so nice to know people are really digging deep to help.

    I really hope this humanitarian aid effort made a hige impact on the survivors in Port-au-Prince.
