First Steps in Sales

In my last blog post I wrote about finding my way within the Meltwater organization and how and why I ended up “down under,” all of which probably sounded quite fancy and great. In this post I want to go into more detail on what my very first months at Meltwater were like. These first few months were not so fancy, but rather hard work. Getting Started Down Under

Looking back on the last two years , I can say I have achieved the two major things I was looking for after graduation: I have received many responsibilities quickly and started working with real clients within the first week on the job. I was never singled out as the “new one,” but a member of the office and the team immediately. After 8 months as a Sales Consultant, I was promoted into a management position, leading my own team.

From Berlin to Down Under

I thought opening up the first office of Meltwater News in New Zealand would be a challenge, but right now I am faced with even a bigger challenge: how to start my very first blog post???
