President Barack Obama arrived in San Francisco Thursday evening to attend a Democratic fundraiser at the Westin St. Francis hotel. Various groups rallied in Union Square for causes that range from health care reform to ending the war in Afghanistan and reforming international trade agreements.
Meltwater News ran an analysis on the latest media mentions in relation to the hottest Obama-related topics this week.

Eight months ago I was asked to relocate from London to Dubai as a Sales Manager with Meltwater News. The Dubai office had only been open for six months, so the move was an opportunity for me to make an impact and to potentially take the lead role in a new office. You’ve heard about it for months. Maybe you’ve been sick or know someone who has.
This morning, the medical software company Cerner Corp. announced its Flu Pandemic Initiative with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The federal government and Cerner Corp. have teamed up to use Cerner’s newly developed medical software system to help track “hot spots” of swine flu outbreaks in order to forecast future developments.
